The great people at Specialized Bike hosted a tour of their new distribution facility. It was no mistake that Mike Sinyard started Specialized. As a cyclist, Mike wanted the best products but had a hard time finding them back in the states.  Since 1974, the business has grown up and branched out, developing a unique brand of bikes, equipment, clothing, and components, but the three original pillars- a passion for riding, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a close partnership with independent bicycle retailers- are still the foundation of the company. The founding principle is: “a focus on the rider’s need for functional and technically advanced products that provide a performance benefit”. That holds more true today than any other time in the company’s history. It is what makes them Specialized. Twenty five professionals attended the tour and enjoyed good networking over lunch.
